Happy Birthday Baby!

Today is my handsome hubby's birthday, he is the big 3-0! I started his morning off right with a good breakfast. I stopped by Panera and picked up his favorite breakfast sandwich and coffee, then took it to him at work with his card. He was so surprised and that makes me so happy...I love seeing him excited! For his birthday, I got him new golf shoes, a new driver, and some new irons. He has been wanting some new irons for a while and he found a great deal, so to say that he was excited about his new golf accessories would be an understatement. Since he got them last week he has been on a constant golf rampage and I love it!

We are going to go to dinner tonight and then to the lake with friends this weekend, so I am sure in the end he will have had a wonderful birthday! I am so thankful to have such a wonderful man to call my husband. His constant love for me proves to be an example to me of what love really is all about. I love him with all of my heart!

Show us your Life-Baby Shower Ideas

The theme for "Show us your Life" this week over at Kelly's Korner is baby showers. Since I do not have any little bitty babes of my own yet, I thought that I would share for you some pictures that I think would make the perfect baby shower.

Take a look at this centerpiece...I love that the colors are so bright and crisp! No shower would be complete without some gorgeous flowers scattered here and there.

Take a look at the favor ideas-I love the first one and they are actually homemade! They took a scripture verse and printed it on some super cute paper then tied it on the top to finish it off. This one is definately going to be stashed away in the back of my mind to use later on...I think that it is a fun favor for sure!

Here is another cute favor idea...personalized candies. You better believe that I would have my baby's monogram as the sticker label on the top of course! The little cookies underneath the candy are super cute as well!

Take a look at this beauty! This is a cake that I would love to have for sure...this cake is chic, Simply Classic, and totally my style!All you girls from the South will agree...what is a shower (or really any occasion for that matter) without petit fours! Love these to pieces...so precious!

Take a look at my big helper! This is my precious neice Emily helping me water my flower beds. She was being so very cute and she said, "Emmie help Natnee water her pretties?" I couldn't resist! She is such a precious little girl, I love her to pieces!
Thank goodness that tomorrow is Friday, this week has seemed so super long to me. I am almost done editing the pictures from the wedding and hopefully I can download them all this weekend. Stay tuned...Happy Friday to you!

Here Comes the Bride...

There will be more to come from me when I am back in the states. We are sitting in the aiport, still in the Dominican Republic, waiting on our flight back to Tulsa via a transfer in Atlanta. I thought that I would drop a little note and leave you with this picture...
